The Atlas® 9KBPX is an economically designed baseplate two-post lift great for low ceiling garages. The total column height of 111 ½” (9 feet 3 ½ inches) allows this lift to be installed in almost any professional or home garage with a ceiling as low as 9 feet 6 inches. The Atlas® 9KBPX “chain over roller” lift features a spring loaded Secondary Lock System (SLS) that automatically engages in the event of a slack or broken chain. The reliable dual chain-drive cylinders, symmetric arms, and automatic arm restraints make this the perfect choice for “Mr. Homeowner” or small commercial shop looking to service cars, SUV’s and light duty trucks (not recommended to lift Diesel Dually or other large trucks).

I bought the Atlas 9K baseplate lift for my small repair shop, and it’s been fantastic. Super easy to install, and it handles everything from sedans to light trucks with no problem. For a light commercial unit, it feels very sturdy. Great value for the money.

I love this lift. It is shorter than the overhead models and fit in my shop great. It arrived fast to my local freight terminal and they forked it onto my trailer no problem. I setup the lift myself using a combination of a cherry picker and an overhead hoist. It wasn’t too bad, but you want to eat your Wheaties first. I was missing one of the loft pads and they sent it next day. I went with a 110volt pump and it feels just like the 240 volt lifts I used to use, so no problems there. I’m happy with this purchase.
